Sunday Church Gatherings
It’s Happening! Crossway San Diego will meet as a church, beginning on Sunday December 21 from 6:00-7:09 pm at Fletcher Hills Presbyterian Church 455 Church Way, El Cajon. Series: Celebrating the Christ of Christmas. Nursery and Children’s Celebration will be provided. Holiday Season Cookout
This Sunday Late Afternoon, December 7th from 3:30-6:00 pm at Sweetwater Summit RV Park, 3218 Summit Meadow Road, site #77 Bonita.
Dress warmly, hot dogs, brauts, buns and condiments will be provided, along with fun, friends and encouragement. You simply bring a side to share (chips are good), a chair, a friend and a guitar if you play.

Who are we
Crossway San Diego is a new church plant of the Crossway Network, launched to bring Bible teaching, authentic community, and hope to our city.
We’re here for anyone searching for purpose, but especially for young families, singles and business leaders who may have felt disconnected from church in the past.
Our commitment is to be a multi-racial church that brings the reality of Jesus to a hurting, divided and pain-filled world. Tom and Dawn have planted two previous churches that reflect this very reality that are thriving. Crossway San Diego will be a church that reflects the ehtnic make up of the city as a whole.
Each ministry will be grounded in and taught from the all time best seller… The Bible! In addition visitors can expect contemporary worship, a strong commitment to children’s and women’s ministries and the highest priority of developing real men to be the leaders God has created them to be for today and tomorrow!

The founding pastor of Crossway San Diego brings decades of ministry leadership to this new church plant. Tom has been a lead pastor most of his adult life — planting churches, coaching people, running ministries, and equipping leaders. Tom is also a business owner (for 13 years), a surfer, triathlete and ultra-runner, husband to Dawn for over 30 years, and proud dad of two adult children. Through his journey with the Crossway Network, he’s invested in serving young adults, building community, evangelism, and church planting.

Tom and Dawn Harcus are the visionary couple behind Crossway San Diego. Together they have spent decades in Christian ministry—planting and pastoring churches, developing leaders, and catalyzing spiritual growth. Dawn has been a steadfast partner in every step: supporting ministries, mentoring others, and helping build community.
Their first big step in church planting was when they left suburban Chicago and relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado to start the first Crossway church, Mountain View Community Church. Since then, they’ve helped expanded the ministry to become the Crossway Network across the U.S. and internationally. They’ve taken on roles in church planting, leadership development, student and campus ministry, small groups, and outreach beyond the church walls.
Tom is also a business owner, an endurance athlete, coach, husband, and father. Dawn brings compassion, wisdom, and relational strength to their partnership. Together, they’re devoted to raising up leaders, equipping families, and building a church community that reflects hope, faith, and love in action.

Everyone is welcome! Regardless of your background, skin-color, education, job, pedigree or whether you’ve been in church your whole life, or you’ve been away for years (or never been). You will find a place here to connect with the living God and others on the journey. Crossway San Diego will be a special place where young families, singles, older couples and business leaders in our city gather in genuine community for God’s glory and our joy!
